Scott Hyver did a great job with my LASIK eye surgery - its life changing!

I had a pleasant experience overall with my Lasik procedure.I felt the staff was informative, polite, and reassuring as I went through the process of having my eyes undergo surgery. After the surgery, I felt the staff continued to be helpful and provided tips over how I could have a better recovery. The only thing that could have made it better was that it seemed the doctor forgot tiny details of our meetings. For example, he suggested I get tear duct plugs after the surgery even though I had gotten them during the surgery.Everyones recovery will be different. My procedure was 10 months ago, and now Im very happy I went through it. The first week or so is a bit stressful as I needed to use drops every 30 minutes or so. I kept multiple alarms on my phone to track which drop happened when. The second week is better as the drops slow down to about 4 times a day. For the first week you have to limit yourself pretty heavily (showering with eyes closed, no swimming, etc.). After a while things the recommendations start to let up. Specifically, I remember being able to open my eyes in the shower after a week or two, and being able to swim after 2-4 weeks (I forget the details, the doctor will provide this before the surgery). After a few months had passed I was a bit turned off that I needed eye drops for moisture twice a day, but thankfully my eyes continued to recover and now I may go several days without using eye drops.tl;dr - Lasik is totally worth it. They do good work here.

Getting LASIK with Dr. Lin was the best investment I have ever made! Before getting LASIK, I had chronic eye infections caused by wearing contact lenses for years. Thanks to Dr. Lin and his wonderful staff, I can say good-bye to waking-up with crust on my eyelids, the discharge of yellow pus, and red eyes forever! Dr. Lin and his staff explained the entire process thoroughly to me and made sure I was relaxed and comfortable during the procedure. I have enjoyed 20/20 vision for over 10 years now! I highly recommend IQ Laser Vision to anyone who is considering getting LASIK!

Dr. Lin is the best lasik eye surgeon. He is beyond professional in what he does, and at the same time very humble in that you can speak to him without feeling intimidated. The facility is clean, and all of the staff is very nice and will do beyond the scope of what they need to do to make sure youre comfortable. I got my eyes done about a year ago and it was very quick, easy, and painless. I walked in there blind as a bat, and came out with vision possibly better than a super hero! That very night, Dr. Lin personally called me to check up on me. I thought that was very caring. Its been a year now and my eyesight is still 20/20. My only regret was that I wish I have done this years ago. Great job, everyone! I give this an 5/5 stars 🙂

I had worn glasses for 30 years. When I chose a career as an optician, I had convinced myself that I could continue to wear glasses for another 30 years. But after 30 years of bumping around furniture in the mornings (and nights) and countless eye infections from contact lens wear, I convinced myself to take a chance and go for a lasik consultation.From start to end, Dr. Lin and staff were nothing but wonderful. And working in the optical field, I had a lot of questions! By the end of my consultation, I felt confidant in proceeding with the procedure. From the consultation to the the surgery and post op, the care and knowledge of this group was impeccable! Throughout the entire process they kept me informed and at ease.I recommended Dr. Lin to my brother who then underwent his procedure the following month. Now we both can see without glasses!Dr. Lin has changed my life and after 30 years of wearing glasses, I CAN SEE! I mean, really SEE. Shout out to the nurses and front desk staff!
