The Dr.s and employees here were really patient and helpful. They explain everything to you, and try to assist you as much as possible. There was absolutely no pressure to make a decision about picking or even getting a procedure. The surgery went well and was well worth it for me.

I had the best experience. The whole staff is amazing! Very accommodating, informative, thorough, and with great communication.I did the Lasik procedure and felt like I was at a spa. I sat on a massage chair beforehand before the surgery, and then they brought me to the laser and had me lay down and were so sweet asking me if i wanted a blanket, and gave me some of those squishy stress balls. Dr. Mattioli explained the whole process before the procedure, and would tell me everything he was doing and even what i might feel while performing the surgery. And would double check to make sure i still felt the numbing drops in my eyes.The whole process was very quick, barely felt anything, and today I went to the follow up appointment and I have 20/20 vision!Im incredibly happy with the results and 110% recommend Dr. Mattioli, and his lovely Staff.

Im currently about 1 week post-op from getting EVO ICL at IQ Laser Vision, and Im so glad I went through with it. It feels incredible not having to rely on glasses anymore (though I know reading glasses will be in my future one day!). Everything is healing well, and the whole experience has been smooth and reassuring. I chose IQ Laser Vision based on recommendations from both a friend who had it done here and my cousin, who is also an optometrist.TL;DR:- Amazing staff: kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel well cared for at every step- Seeing 20/20 in one eye and 20/25 in the other (hoping it improves to 20/20 as I heal within the following weeks)- I chose to finance through Alphaeon, but paying upfront is also an optionConsultation (San Marino location):Before scheduling, I did some research: reading reviews, checking out threads, YouTube, and learning about LASIK, SMILE, and ICL. I know I have dry eyes, so I already had that in mind. At my consultation, after the exam, the doctor recommended EVO ICL due to my dry eyes (LASIK and SMILE were not recommended).Shout out to Kelly, who helped me through the entire process financing, procedure prep, and what to expect. She also worked with me to establish a dry eye treatment plan to improve the condition and help with the accuracy of my pre-op measurements.Pre-Op (Rowland Heights location):This location has the advanced machines needed to take detailed eye measurements. Everyone here was professional and warm. I was especially nervous about my dry eyes impacting results and measurements, but Dr. Grace helped ease my worries. They even used gel drops and gave my eyes time to stabilize so they could get accurate readings. Yes, your eyes will be dilated at this appointment.Once my scans were reviewed and cleared by the surgeon, they ordered my ICL and scheduled my surgery. I also had the option to schedule a Zoom call with Dr. Patrick Pham (the surgeon), which I did and it was great! He answered every single question patiently and didnt feel rushed. Bonus: He even allowed my cousin (who is also an optometrist) to observe the procedure.Surgery Day:Naturally, I was nervous but the staff made me feel calm and transparent. After getting vitals, dilation drops, numbing drops, and a light sedative to calm nerves, I went into the procedure room. Dr. Pham, Dr. Henry, and another person (I cant remember her name. Sorry!) were amazing. I didnt feel a thing, couldnt even see what was being done either anyways, and it was over before I knew it approx 10 minutes per eye. Afterward, I got lunch, then came back for a mandatory pressure check before heading home.Post-Op:First couple of days, your eyes may feel gritty, swollen, or bruised but thats expected. Go to your follow up exams, follow your drops schedule, avoid water exposure, and wear your shield at night. Im healing well and already seeing such a big difference in daily life. I even forget I had it at times and still think Im wearing my contacts ---Final Thoughts: If youre even considering ICL, I highly recommend IQ Laser Vision. From consultation to surgery and post-op care, theyve been transparent, responsive, and supportive. Its a big decision but they made it feel safe and worthwhile.
