To anybody that wants to do Lasik Surgery I strongly encourage to have Dr. Mattioli do it. Its been more than a week that I had my surgery and i cannot express how happy i am. Dr. Mattioli is so professional, and he really answers all your questions or concerns you may have. The surgery took like 10 mins I was so scared, but Dr. Mattioli and his team made me feel confident and gave me comfort. Again thank you so much Dr. Mattioli and I will keep telling my family and friends and everybody how wonderful you are and to go get their lasik consult to your office to have back their vision like i did!!

My curiosity for Lasik began Oct 2019. I searched yelp to figure out the situation in this industry. You can go 2 ways: go to a location that is cheap (sub $2k per eye) where they churn out patients like a factory and have poor patient care/bedside manner OR go to a location that costs more but treats you from start to finish (IQ laser vision). When it comes to an operation that can affect your eyes, I suggest the latter. Pay the premium to get exceptional service. My experience was as follows: 1) Free consultation with Dr. Lin (dilation at this time so they can fully evaluate if I was eligible for Lasik). Dr. Lin discussed the differences between Lasik and SMILE. I went with SMILE (smaller cut, quicker heal time). I got a counselor to help you set up what payment works best for me and set a surgery date (recommend opening a new credit card just to rake in a sign up bonus). I committed at this time and they provided me gatifloxacin/prednisolone eye drops as well as natural tears (NO NEED TO GO TO A PHARMACY TO GET YOUR EYE DROPS! This is a huge plus, most lasik operations simply give you a prescription to go pick up yourself!) 2) On day of surgery I was extremely nervous. My parents drove me to the site in City of Industry (where their surgery center is located) and my mother even iced me with: Are you worried you will go blind? Low key I was, especially after reading all the disclaimers. Fortunately, you get to speak with the your eye surgeon prior to the actual surgery, where you will get a chance to air your worries. I spoke to Dr. Erica Liu just beforehand. I was worried that my left pupil was actually 0.5mm larger than my right. They said this could potentially cause more halos and glare during the healing process. Dr. Liu reassured me that there was nothing to worry about, they have to list all the possible outcomes just like a drug side effect profile. Surgery went on without a snatch, just look up straight and keep eyes open for 15 mins. They provide eye drops that help with this and Dr. Liu keeps you informed of everything she is doing along the way. It felt like she was brushing my eye with a very fine brush. Afterwards, they give u shades/make sure you get picked up. I went home and took the ambien for sleep and knocked out. 3) Morning after: amazing, I could already see without any correctional lenses. I was stunned. I could see the San Gabriel/San Bernandino mountains clearly as I drove myself to the 24 hour follow up at City of Industry. They set up the 1 month follow up at this time. My next appointment with the team will be for a 5-month follow up. I currently have my vision corrected to 20/15! (better than 20/20) If you have any fears/doubts when it comes to Lasik/SMILE look no further, IQ laser vision is without a doubt the best choice when it comes to patient care, professionalism and hospitality. I loved the staff as well as my entire experience here. Everyone made sure I felt safe and taken care of. Oscar, Scarlett, Victoria, and Dr Erica Liu took such great care of me! I wouldnt recommend any other center for vision correction. Consultation is free if youve never received a Lasik consultation before. They offer some discounts and work with you if you need to utilize a payment plan. I appreciate the amount of follow up visits to ensure your healing process is going smoothly. The actual surgery was quick and painless. I was able to drive and go about my normal activities the very next day. I am just so pleased with my experience here and am grateful I went with IQ Laser Vision for such a large milestone in my life.

I choose IQ Laser Vision for the SMILE surgery and the results is amazing. I can now see clearly without the aid of glasses and contacts. It is the best decision I ever made. The doctors and technicians there are very helpful and courteous. They was able to answered all of my concerns before I start the SMILE surgery procedure for my eyes. The surgery take about 10 minutes or less and I feel no pain at all just some slight pressure on the eyes. The doctor is also guiding me throughout the entire procedure so I have nothing to worry about. Overall experienced @ IQ Laser Vision was excellent, fast, and helpful and I am satisfied.
