The level of professionalism at this office is incredible. Everyone from the front desk, to the techs, to the doctors were friendly, helpful, and patient. Its been a month and a half since my Lasik surgery and I couldnt be happier, best money ever spent.

For my birthday, I gifted myself Lasik. Its been about 6 weeks now, so I feel a bit more comfortable sharing my thoughts. The free consultation took about 2 hours to complete. I didnt need to bring in any of my history because they did a complete workup. They even noticed that I had a mild lazy eye, even though I forgot to mention it and its so mild that my usual optometrists tend to disregard it. Side note for those who are nervous: theres absolutely no pressure to follow through after the free consultation. Truth be told, I actually contacted them two YEARS ago, left my info, and chickened out. It was only last month that I took the initiative again to set up a consultation. They offer 3 different procedures based on what best fits you. Because of my unique situation, I could only go with the ALL- laser, and even then, they made sure I understood that one of my eyes would never, ever reach 20/20. It was brought up in every meeting (face to face and over the phone), and I had to sign a waiver right before the actual procedure. I appreciate that they never gave me false promises. Your total cost includes your pre/post op care package, the procedure, 1 years worth of checkups, and a lifetime guarantee (fine print included, of course). As for the operation day itself, everything went fairly smoothly. The time spent with the actual laser is very brief. The laser auto tracks your eye so you can look around without fear (even though you should definitely keep as still as possible). There was no pain. I repeat, no pain. There was mild discomfort, and I did struggle a little though. Dr Liu was comforting and paused the procedure to let me regain my composure. For those who I just scared: I was never in danger or pain; I just really wanted to blink. I went home, popped a sleeping pill, and woke up the next day able to see. The checkup revealed that I am officially 20/20 with both eyes open. I am not 20/20 when tested individually, but like I said, they warned me continuously beforehand. In the weeks and checkups since, they say my vision is still stabilizing, but Im doing fine. They only negative side effect so far is that Im really sensitive to light now. Its hard for me to go out without sunglasses during the day. They tell me that should slowly get better over time though. As for the little things I usually throw into my reviews: parking is a breeze, and staff is defintely welcoming. The lobby offers a few complimentary indulgences, but each location offers different things. The City of Industry office, for example, offers a massage chair. The City of Industry office is the one that actually hosts operations, so youll have a chance to stop by and try it.

On my consultation day, there were a lot of people, which mean that they trust this company in doing eye procedures, and also they trust their doctors. It encouraged me more, and it lessen my fear of the unknown. Staff were very friendly, and they are very helpful in providing information about each eye procedures and finances for whatever procedure you will be doing.On my surgery day, Dr Liu provided me the best care ever. She did the Smile Lasik procedure on me. She was very gentle. She gave simple instructions and information of what to expect throughout the procedure. I did not feel any pain, and it took about 15mins to complete the whole procedure. Got home afterwards and rested.About 12hours or so after my procedure, still a little blurry but I could totally see clearly, no more glasses needed. 18hours after the procedure, I drove by myself to my follow up appointment, which is about 30 miles from home (in Westminster. Only available place due to the one in City of Industry being closed on that day). My vision is so clear by now. I did not mind driving, I wore my sunglasses, and I was able to get there safely. 24hours past, I went to work having no problem with my vision. I really appreciate the staff that helped me especially Dr Liu.Highly recommended: Lasik surgery, IQ Laser Vision, and Dr Erica Liu.

Dr Hyver and his associates are top notch. They were patient, kind, and professional throughout the whole process. They did such an amazing job with everything, from assessment, to understanding the pros cons, to the LASIK procedure, to the recovery. I knew exactly what to expect for the recovery, and it was spot on. Thank you for an amazing job well done!

Dr. Mattioli is very professional and thorough. I admire how he continues to get training on advanced techniques. I feel very comfortable at his office.
