This is a long overdue review!! I got my surgery July 7, 2016! I started doing my research, reading reviews, and I found this place. The reviews the results were positive. I made my appointment, did the test, and made the surgery appointment a week later. All through the process , everybody was respectful, nice, and always answered my questions. Never once did I feel intimidated which was a big thing for me when looking for the right place to get my survey at. I did pay with cash but I was also able to get finance loan from WF with no interest. I will be done this July! For some us that cant afford to pay in cash the full amount, dont let it stop you from going through with the surgery. The money was always an excuse for me, I didnt want to get the surgery because I knew I couldnt afford it. They help you out. Surgery day came, I was freaking nervous, they explained the process and what eye they would start with. The lady thats in there was really nice. I remember being really still, not moving one muscle! I didnt feel anything for the first eye, it was second eye that I felt some pain, my pain was probably a 6. It smelled like burned hair It really helped that the lady held my hand, it was reassuring! Once I was done, I had an appointment the next day, a week later, a month later, and a year later, if I remember correctly. Once I was out, I had to take a look, and already I could tell that I could freaking see!!! My mom drove me home, I slept and woke up to take the pill. I did feel some pain, a 6, but just go back to sleep. The next day I was able to see! Obviously, the light did affect my sight and I could still see some halo around the lights, it went away. Almost 3 years later and Ive had no problems with my eyesight I do get an eye exam once a year. My eyes do get dry here and there, especially with the fan or ac on. I wear my sunglasses when the sun is out, it doesnt have to be summer to protect your eyes. Dont forget your eye drops! My cousin got his surgery last year here. Hes also had great results! Make your appointment, ask questions, inform yourself. I definitely recommend this to everybody! I had a great experience with great results! I am very happy with the help and services of Dr. Robert Lin and his staff at the IQ Laser Vision Lasik. I am also pleased with the outcome of Dr. Lins recommendation for the best advices for my eyes. The moment I walk into the office I have a feeling that this is the right place for me to do the lasik for my eyes and after I got a chance to talk with Dr. Lin, I feel more confident that I can rest assure and rely my trust on him. Ive been wanting to get LASIK for about 3 years now and was hesitant due to the surgery itself as well as the cost. After losing my hard lenses twice and facing difficulties with not seeing 24/7 without contacts or glasses to care for my special-needs daughter, I started to seriously look into LASIK. It felt overwhelming with all the different offices that perform LASIK but I saw the reviews for IQ Laser Vision and they really stood out to me. I went in for a consult and was comforted but how kind, knowledgeable, and patient everyone was. Suki calls me by name every time she sees me, Dr. Richard patiently answered the 13 questions I had written on a piece of paper and Melissa thoroughly explained things about the procedure, whether I wanted mono-vision or not as well as costs and payment plans. I appreciated that no one tried to push me and they even suggested that I wait to see if my vision would yet again change since I had only taken my hard lenses out for 3.5 weeks. You can tell that they want to do a good job and do things the right way. I chose to get the SMILE procedure (a smaller incision than traditional LASIK) on March 29, 2019 and got it done by Dr. Liu. She is both professional, kind and calming and did a great job. After the procedure, I had lot of tearing, light sensitivity and tingling (in my left eye more than my right). The tingling went away in about 2 hours. I went home and kept my eyes closed for the remainder of the day. Lo and behold, I woke up the next morning and could see everything clearly. Aside from some dryness, I am still in awe of the glasses and contacts-free life I am living and the ability to see 20/20 all the time. One more thing: I declined a receipt the day of my procedure but changed my mind a few days later. I dreaded having to ask for one and thought it might take forever but when I asked Victoria, she responded immediately and emailed me the receipt by the next day. Everyone at this office is great!
