The whole experience was extremely positive and friendly. The procedure was easy and painless. I was able to see clearly without glasses just few hours after the procedure. Its magical and money well spent.

I had the smile procedure on my left eye and lasik on my right and going into it I was a little worried and concerned but after the helpful staff talked me through what was going to happen i felt much more relaxed. The smile procedure was over in a blink of an eye (pun intended) the lasik procedure took slightly longer but still fairly quick for what was going on. The healing process from smile was very quick within 6 hours i could see majority of everything and lasik followed soon after around 8 hours. All in all im very happy i took the chance on getting my eyes fixed and now i can enjoy doing normal activities hassle free again.

I was recommended to do a free consultation with IQ Laser Vision from my regular optometrist as they thought I would be a good candidate for the surgery. Both my eyes were consistently -3.25 with Astigmatism. I had not previously thought to get this procedure as I was initially very scared of possible risks. However, I was open to attending the consultation, and at the appointment, everyone was incredibly kind and helpful in answering my questions. They were able to ease all of my concerns and helped me to understand that the procedure would not affect anything related to the back of the eyeball. This meant there was no possibility of an increase in floaters or blindness caused directly by the procedure. My consultant thoroughly explained the different procedures (LASIK and SMILE). Although more expensive, I chose to go with SMILE due to the benefits of having a smaller incision and reduced risk of dry eye.I had multiple follow ups before scheduling my procedure, and I think it just goes to show how thorough the staff is in making sure everything goes smoothly. They triple checked my prescription to ensure stability and that this is the prescription that would get me to perfect vision. I was able to try on glasses with the intended prescription and test if I would be able to read the line for 20/15 vision. After confirming that the prescription was accurate and comfortable for me, I scheduled my appointment. Even at this step, the service was wonderful. My consultant clearly broke down the pricing and explained the backgrounds of each of the possible surgeons. I went with Dr. Erica Liu who has extensive experience with the SMILE procedure.The procedure itself was very quick (only 10 - 15 minutes) and completely painless due to numbing eyedrops. On the day of, the office staff talks you through every step and makes you feel very comfortable. Right before the procedure, Dr. Erica Liu talked me through any last minute concerns. I was even given the agency to control the operating room music and was given a stress ball to squeeze throughout the procedure. I honestly couldnt believe how fast and easy it was. I only had to rest the day of my procedure and was able the see 20/15 the next day. I was treated with the same attention and care at the follow up. I would definitely recommend IQ Laser Vision to anybody considering LASIK or SMILE.
